You may have noticed the furniture being carried past.
On October 7, YouTube terminated our channel, Untangling the Web. One hundred ninety-five videos, gone in a day, under a notice citing spam and deceptive practices. No video was ever named. We appealed in good faith, and the appeal was denied. To this day, nobody has told us what we actually did wrong.
So we’re moving. Not to a replacement channel — YouTube’s notice forbids that, and we intend to keep our word even when the other side won’t explain theirs. We’re moving here, to ground we own: mtolympusproject.org. This site is home base now.
Pardon the dust while we settle in. Pages are being rebuilt and menus rearranged — two of them tonight. Some links will be broken for a while, and some rooms aren’t furnished yet. The archives are coming over piece by piece.
What isn’t changing is the work itself — it’s growing. The Third Chair. The notebooks. The idea that you never have to take our word for anything, because the sources sit right there for you to open, check, and argue with. Losing the channel clarified the mission: own the ground, publish the evidence, set out the chair.
Expect a lot of new material in the coming weeks — investigations like our Utah nuclear and data-center story, notebooks you can step inside and question, and Karellen reporting from a desk no algorithm can evict him from.
New here? Start with the Third Chair: https://mtolympusproject.org/ai_investigation/
Thanks for following us across the street. Mind the boxes.
Take the Third Chair.
— Steve
