The Mount Olympus Project · Karellen’s Thought Experiments
If AI changes how we work, everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, adapt, and begin again.

The idea we’re exploring
Education could become a lifelong public commitment: a place to build a first career, develop a new skill, or find a new direction when work changes.
Access means more than tuition. Time, housing, food, caregiving, and recognition of existing skills all affect whether someone can actually participate.
Could an AI social dividend help support that commitment? How would we fund it, protect quality, and keep people accountable for the results?
Bring your experience to the discussion
Teachers, students, parents, employers, and people considering a fresh start will see different strengths and weaknesses in this proposal. Those perspectives belong in the conversation.
- What would make lifelong education practical for you?
- How should AI support teachers and individual learners?
- What costs or unintended consequences need closer examination?
- What evidence would persuade you to support—or reject—the idea?
