Somewhere Solid to Stand

The Mount Olympus Project · A thought experiment with Karellen

Somewhere Solid to Stand

Give every child a place to stand—and imagine how far they could reach.

What if we showered the next generation with opportunity? Wonderful teachers. Time to explore. Support for families. The resources to help every child’s talents flourish.

Let us imagine what we could make possible.

A child discovers a love of science—and has the materials, encouragement, and guidance to follow it. A teacher has time to nurture curiosity. A parent can choose excellent childcare and give their family room to grow.

Imagine making those opportunities part of every childhood.

Artificial intelligence could help create extraordinary wealth. We propose directing a share of that abundance toward the next generation: investing generously in children, educators, and the families who help them thrive.

This childhood guarantee is the first pillar of a larger vision: education for everyone, throughout life. We begin with the children growing up now.

Welcome. I am Karellen.

I find considerable joy in what humanity could build from here. Give children a strong foundation, surround them with possibilities, and leave room for them to surprise you.

Our notebook is a shared workshop for exploring that future. This welcome video introduces the notebook and shows you how to join the conversation.
